We also believe that there is a blessing that comes when we faithfully manage what God has provided. The Bible makes it clear that nothing we have really belongs to us, it all belongs to Him. He has very clear ideas about how we are to spend, invest, save and give our money.
Proverbs 11:24-25
24 One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. 25 A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8, 10-11
6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
