Our ministries are designed to help you to become the best possible version of yourself…this can only happen as we come to know God better and choose to love Him more. This process of spiritual development can only be managed effectively by one person-you! At Journey, we want to make our structures as user-friendly and as resourceful as possible, so you can find tools to learn, grow and mature. We believe in a guiding principle described as “Simple With Many Options.” We believe this is the most effective way for you receive the most return on your investment of time, passion and effort.
Children
We value our next generation. Children’s ministry is vital to the life of our church because it’s where children begin to know Jesus. It is our goal to create a safe place for children to discover what it means to live for Christ.
Youth
Junior and senior high school students need a place where they are welcomed just as they are, to be come together and find out who they could be. Their future is our hope and legacy. Our investment in them will be aimed at helping them to connect, grow, serve and reach in ways that make our community, nation and world a better place.
Small Groups
When we gather together for our main service there is an excitement and an energy that is hard to duplicate. There are moments that happen in the course of singing a song or hearing a message that we experience together and it can life-changing. But, there are some important functions of the church that don’t occur easily in a bigger group, such as relationship building, discussing questions or developing new leadership or ministry skills. These happen best in small groups.
We will be developing groups of all kinds, some centered around specific Bible studies, others focused on activities, others on causes or common interests. They can meet in homes or restaurants or any other place where people gather. If you want to grow spiritually or relationally, small groups will help you.
